Newsletter Submission Guidelines

To have your announcement or event included in our weekly newsletter, please submit your information using our online form:

• Submission Link: Please submit all content via the Africana Studies Newsletter Submission Form .
• Deadline: Submissions must be received by Friday at 12:00 PM (Noon) to be featured in the following Tuesday’s newsletter which is sent out at 2pm. Submissions received after Friday at noon will be considered for the subsequent newsletter cycle.
• Selection & Priorities: Please note that completing the form does not guarantee inclusion in the newsletter. Space is limited, and priority will be given to content related to the arts, humanities, and student opportunities.
• Social Media: The form includes an option to request social media promotion. If you would like us to share your announcement on social media, you can indicate:
  • Whether you or your department/organization would like to be tagged (with handles/usernames).
  • Any specific accounts or individuals you would like us to tag or share the post with.
